EPS Korea language test undergoing

Pokhara—Nepali youths are taking part in an examination of Korean language under the Employment Permit System (EPS) in Nepal today.

A total of 92356 candidates are eligible for the EPS examination scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in Pokhara and Kathmandu. The result will be out on June 28, 2019. South Korea had announced that a total of 10050 candidates would be selected from the total candidates and 7050 youths would be allocated for production sector and rest will go for agriculture sector.

The examination timetable has been set in two shifts which are 10 am to 10.50 am and 1.30 pm to 2.20 pm. According to EPS Korea information person Shobhakar Bhandari, there has been fixed a total of 32– 21 examination centers in Kathmandu, 7 in Lalitpur and 4 in Pokhara.

Candidate should take part in the same category which he or she applied for. The form for EPY 2020 was opened on March 22, 2019. 18 to 39 year old youths were eligible to fill the form. Nepali youths have been including in EPS system since 2008 and more than 82,000 youths had applied forms for last year’s quota.
