Chilly Bar and Restaurant marks its aluminium jubilee

Pokhara—With a slogan ‘Tourism for Prosperity and Social Development’, the Chill Bar and Restaurant (CBR) has marked its 10th anniversary, fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, in Pokhara on Wednesday. The restaurant organized a formal program in its courtyard to support 4 bicycles to tourist police and 5 wheel chairs to handicapped persons.

Gandaki Province assembly member Rajiv Pahari and other guests jointly handed over those materials to the needy people during that ceremony. At the same time, the restaurant also organized a blood donation program that collected 29 unit blood and supported Vatsyan Elderly Home and Namaste Community Foundation Rs 25,000 each.

According to CBR Managing Director Bishow Raj Paudel, the administration has contributed Rs 25,000 in restaurant’s welfare fund in the context of restaurant’s aluminum jubilee.

Pokhara Tourism Council Chairman Chirinjibi Pokhrel, hotel and restaurant workers’ leader Rajendra Timilsina, Pokhara Metropolitan City ward 6 chairman Jagat Bahadur Pahari and CRB director Visma Raj Paudel also delivered their remarks during the program chaired by Govinda Sharma Bikharchee who is a Chilly Group chairman.

The CBR was jointly founded by Bishow Raj Paudel who has more than 3 decade of experience in tourism sector and Mr. Visma Raj Paudel who is also a founder chairperson of Namaste Community Foundation and has been involved in different humanitarian organization for the last 20 years.

The Chilly Bar is divided into three sections – on the ground floor is restaurant, on the first floor is funky bar and then upstairs have a VIP lounge with best lake view.
