NPC advance in quaters

Pokhara–Nepal Police Club advanced into the quarter finals of the 6th Pokhara Cup Football Tournament on Saturday. Beating CMG Sankata Club 2-1, NPC has proved its strength. The first goal was scored by Sankata in 11th minute but NPC leveled it in 31st minute. Sankata’s Alan scored first goal but NPC’s Abhishek Rijal leveled the score.

Finally, NPC’s Ravi Paswan made final goal to beat Sankata. He later became man of the match. NPC coach Ananta Thapa said that his boys played well in spite of their tiredness due to earlier matches in another tournament. Sankata’s coach Salyan Khadgi said that they were beaten due the mistake of their defense line. Three Star will take on APF on Saturday.
