Pokhara—Nepal Magar Sangh (NMS) in association with the Untied Reference Laboratory New Road Pokhara has organized a free health camp in Pokhara on Saturday. The camp aimed to provide the health awareness and health care in cheaper expenses.
A total of 102 persons took the service of blood test of thyroid. URL also supported to find out the blood group of the service seekers. According to URL Managing Director Thakur Prasad Panta, the lab has provided discounts in other kinds of blood tests too. According to MD Panta, the laboratory has offered 50 percent discount in the test of vitamin D and 25 percent in whole body check up.
URL has been supporting numbers of organizations to hold free health check up camps. The recent camp was 60th of its kind. More than 36,000 patients have got such service from that kind of camps. The laboratory also has been carrying out sensitive and expensive blood tests as part of its CSR.
