Pokhara— Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista said that the government is preparing for Prime Minister Employment Program to create the employment in Nepal.
Speaking in a press meet organized by Press Organization Nepal Kaski in Pokhara on Saturday, minister Bista further added that the government is trying to create thousands of employments within the nation by that program. He also said that the recently announced social security plan is also a part of curbing the unemployment in Nepal.
He claimed that his ministry is committed to punish the manpower agencies that cheat those who wish to go to abroad for employment. Saying that youth are compelled to go to foreign lands as there is few opportunities of employment, he added, government is serious to create jobs in Nepal.
Minister Bista also accepted that the government is failed to deliver as per people’s wish but visible results would be carried out to satisfy the people very soon. According to him, people have high expectation but some hurdles are there to address their wishes as numbers of laws are yet to be forged.
