Pokhara—Glacier Hotel and Spa is to co-sponsor the 13th Safal Pokhara International Marathon salted for February 19, 2019. The Nepal Ex-athlete Forum has been organizing Pokhara Marathon annually for 12 years in Pokhara.
Glacier Hotel and Spa chairman Rajendra Dhakal and forum’s chairman Tej Gurung have signed a memorandum of understanding of co-sponsorship of Rs 0.2 million. Speaking in a signing program, Glacier’s chairman Dhakal expressed his happiness that he was proud of supporting to Pokhara Marathon which is also an significant event for the promotion of Pokhara tourism. “It is a matter of great opportunity’, Dhakal further added- Glacier is now a part of Pokhara Marathon.
At the same time, forum’s chairman Gurung said that his organization is glad as they got the chance of cooperating with an eminent hotel like Glacier. He further added that any kind of sport activity is possible if tourism sector extends its helping hands. Forum’s executive member Tilak KC also expressed his gladness as they got the Glacier Hotel as a cosponsor.
