Pokhara—Butwal Blasters and Kathmandu Royals crushed Chitwan Rhinos and Dhangadi Blues respectively in 2nd and third match of Namaste Pokhara Premier League being held in the cricket ground of Pokhara Stadium.
Butwal Blasters won by 70 runs while Kathmandu won by 17 runs to achieve 2 points each. Batting first Butwal scored 135-6 in allotted 20 over match. But Chitwan who won the toss were limited only in 65 runs playing 16.5 overs. Butwal’s Sagar Pun contributed 46 runs while S Rana collected 48 runs for their team. Player of the match Sompal Kami took four wickets for Butwal and Karan KC claimed 2 wickets for Chitwan.
In third match, winning toss Kathmandu were elected to bat first and scored 180-3 in 20 overs. In reply, Dhangadi made managed only 163-8. Man of the match GY Tomar of Kathmandu scored 95 runs while NB Budayair, J Kolsawal and A shrestha contributed 36, 25 and 12 runs respectively. Dhangadi’s Captain DS Airee scored a half century.
