At least 15 workers killed in Mustang tipper accident

Mustang—At least 15 manual workers were killed when a tipper they were travelling met with an accident at Syangboche in Mustang district at around 1.30 pm today. Workers were the parts of the Kali Gandaki Corridor construction and they were on their way to Tamakhola after having meal in Syangboche of Damodar Kunda Rural Municipality-3, Upper Mustang.

The tipper plunged some 50 meter down from the road killing 4 women and 11 men. 17 other injured during the incident. Five of them are said to be in normal condition. A team of police have reached to the incident site and injured would be airlifted in Nepali Army chopper for treatment, informed Province 4 Police Office.
