Singapore—U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un held a face-to-face meeting Tuesday morning for their historic and much anticipated summit in Singapore.

“We had a terrific day and we learned a lot about each other and about our countries,” Trump said, in the pretense of North Korean leader Un. President Trump after holding meeting with leader Un further added that the the Korean conflict “will soon end,”

After the concluding of their meeting, Trump and Kim signed an agreement focusing on the denuclearization of North Korea and peace in that peninsula.

After clinching the agreement, Trump termed Kim as a “very worthy, very smart negotiator.””We had a terrific day and we learned a lot about each other and about our countries,” Trump said, Trump further said “He is very talented,” Kim said “the world will see a major change,” adding that the two men had decided “to leave the past behind.”, CNN reports.

Major points of the agreement between US and North Korea
1. The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new U.S.-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.
2. The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.
3. Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
4. The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains, including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.
