Bomb found near Pokhara Airport, defused

Pokhara—A homemade bomb that found near the gate of Pokhara Airport was defused by Nepali Army. The bomb was placed nearby the Gate 1 of airport and was diffused by Nepali army bomb disposal team.

Province 4 security meeting is undergoing in Pokhara today and Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal was reached after landing at that airport. District Police Office Kaski spokesperson and DSP Khadka Bahadur Khatri said that the police is searching the person who planted that bomb. Now the situation is normal.

Similarly, the army team defused a pressure cooker bomb that was placed at Madi River Bridge in Byas Municipality Tanahun this morning. Likewise, a woman has been arrested by police for allegedly exploding a bomb at the garage of Suryodaya Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. in Mechi Nagar of Jhapa today. Likewise, a bomb was exploded in Bhatbhateni Super Store in Chitwan this morning.

Similarly, an unidentified group torched two Indian number plate trucks in Dhunibesi of Chalise Bazaar in Dhading district this afternoon. Netra Bikram Chand led Communist Party of Nepal is organizing a Nepal bandh today and few numbers of vehicles are plying in the Nepal roads. Public bus services are halted in long route and only private vehicles could be seen in the roads.

Earlier in the morning, the transportation service was halted for few hours as a suspicious object was found along the East West Highway in Dulari of Morang. Similarly, another suspicious object was found in Butwal Bhairahawa road section and in Phulbari Pension camp of same area.
