Bajhang—Five persons, four of a single family have been killed when flash floods swept them away at Diklagadha of Tharalara Rural Municipality- 4, Bajhang on Saturday night. According to District Police Office Bajhang, they were on their way to home from Dhodekhet Bazaar.
Deceased have been identified Harka BK, 27, his wife Devaki Devi BK, 26, daughter Manisha BK, 12, son Saksham BK, 3 and their relatives Kalashi BK, 35, informed DSP Rishiram Kandel. The incessant rainfall triggered that floods and caused the death of five lives. The incident was known in the next morning today thought the tragedy happened last night.
According to information, the BK family was trying to cross the stream that was flash flooded. The dead bodies have been prepared to fetch to the hospital for postmortem. Earlier on five day before, there persons were killed when flash flood swept away a vehicle they were travelling.
