Parajuli retired as Chief Justice

Pokhara—The Judicial Council Secretariat has informed Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli that he is no more in his post due to his age barrier. A letter signed by JCS Secretary Nripadhoj Niraula reads that Parajuli was automatically retired as he crossed the 65 years of age on August 15, 2017.

The secretariat has mentioned that the decision was taken on the basis of Parajuli’s citizenship certificate, academic qualification certificate and the letter received from Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) Sanothimi, Bhaktapur.
