Two including a journalist hurt in Pokhara bomb blast

By Rup Narayan Dhakal : Pokhara—At least two persons were injured when a bomb went off in Bijaypur of Pokhara this afternoon. According to District Police Office Kaski Chief SP Ashok Singh, TV journalist Ghanshyam Pandey and a police constable Kul Bahadur Khatri suffered injury in their neck during the detonation. They are said to be out of danger and having treatment at Gandaki Medical College Pokhara.

Netra Bikram Chand Biplav led Nepal Communist Party has called Nepal Bandh today and normal life even in Pokhara also crippled due to that strike. The detonation occurred at a time when two suspicious objects were noticed in Bijaypur and Nagdhunga of Pokhara.

Nepal Army bomb disposal team reached Nagdhunga but they were due to reach in Bijaypur following the information about subspecies object. Similarly, NCP cadres detonated a bomb in a supermarket in Damak of Jhapa.
