By Rup Narayan Dhakal : Ruslan Three Star Club (TSC) entered to the final of 16th Aaha Rara Football Tournament here in Pokhara Stadium today. Defeating Uttar Barindhara Club (UBC) 5-0, TSC made berth in final with the hat-trick of Biswas Shrestha. Bishnu Gurung and Nirajan Khadka scored 1 each for TSC which is the four time winner of this tournament.
It took 41 minutes to score first goal to TSC though the opponent UBC stood very weak team. Two of the good players of UBC seen two red cards during a quarter final match with Far Western- XI. Bishnu and Nirajan scored in 41 and 45 minutes respectively while Bishnu contributed in 45+3, 67 and 75 minutes.
TSC will take on the winner of last semifinal match on coming Saturday. Tomorrow’s last semifinal is going to be played between Dharan Football Club and Nepal Police Club. UBC senior vice chairman Musibur Rehman accepted that his team remained very weak against TSC due to red card in earlier match. TSC coach Megh Raj KC said that the match remained like a fight between ox and goat.
