Eight killed in Nepal road accidents

Pokhara—At least eight persons were killed in separate two road accidents in Nepal. Six persons were killed when a Sumo jeep met with an accident in Dhanusa this morning.

According to District Police Office Dhanusa, the jeep with a number plate Ba 9 Cha 3314 was heading for Jhapa from Kathmandu and crashed at Ganeshman Charnath Municipality- 8 at around 2.30 am. Four persons were said to be injured during the incident. The condition of one of them is critical while other three discharged from hospital after normal treatment.

Similarly, two persons were killed when a jeep plunged some 300 meter down from the road at Yangbarak Rural Municipality- 3 in Panchathar district last night. According to police, other six have injured during the accident.
