Pokhara—Ritika Gurung, 18 from Pokhara Amarsingh Chowk has been crowned as Miss Gandaki season IV in Pokhara on Saturday. Defeating her 16 competitors, Ritika bagged scooter worth rupees 1,80,000 including a silver crown. Ritika who is the science student of grade 12, also won the subtitles of best performance and best complexion.
Jeshmin Gurung became first runner up to receive the prize equal to Rs 75,000. She also bagged the subtitles of best smile and best personality. Second runner up Pragya Gurung received Rs 50,000. She also bagged the sub title of most talented. Third runner up Jyoti Sapkota got Rs 25,000 including special gift hampers in the grand finale of pageant organized by ST Creation. Suraz Thapa was the chief coach and choreographer of the contest.
Miss World Nepal 2005 Sugarika KC, choreographer and mediaman Asish Shrestha, Miss Pokhara 1995 first runner up and lecturer Rajani KC, singer and Nawadeep Boarding School founder principal Kaushalya Gurung, Miss Pokhara 2015 winner Sabina Rana Bhujel and Jeet Hamro Foundation director Rajesh Joshi were in the jury. Kunwar Brothers Chairman and Janapriya Multiple Campus chairman Indra Kunwar was the chief guest in the grand finale that was hosted by media persons Inisha Dura and Yakin Gurung.
