Police seize 17 kg of gold from Kerung

Pokhara–District Police Office Rasuwa has seized 17 kg of gold that was being carried in a Bolero jeep from China, in Kerung border point this morning. Police also arrested one person during the gold seizure.

Rasuwa DSP Sharat Kumar Thapa Chhetri informed that police have arrested driver Kashang Dawa Tamang, 31 of Rasuwa however it has not been cleared that who the key person is behind the illegal importing of gold. The investigating over the incident is underway.
