One devotee killed in Parbat bus plunge

Pokhara—At least one devotee was killed and 30 other hurt when a bus they were travelling plunged in Arthar of Parbat today.

According to SP Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, devotees were on their way to home after dispersing various food grains during Nepali festival Bala Chaturdashi in Panchase, one of the Nepal’s popular religious places for Hindu as well as Buddhist devotees. The cause of accident and the identity of deceased is yet to be known.

The ill-fated bus plunged some 100 meter down from the road at around 4.50 pm at res in Kusma Municipality- 14. Eight of the injured are said to be in critical condition. Panchase is popular religious place which situates in the bordering area of Kaski, Parbat and Syangja districts.
