Two killed in Surkhet bus accident

Pokhara—At least two persons were killed when a bus plunged at Kalikhola of Simta Rural Municipality in Surkhet District on Friday. The bus with a number plate Me 1 Kha 722 was heading to Surkhet from Khalanga of Jajarkot and met with an accident wounding other 25.

The identity of deceased is yet to be known. The ill-fated bus plunged some 100 meter down to the bank of Bheri River. A team of police from Chhinchu have reached to the incident site for rescue operation. District Police Office Surkhet SP Mohan Acharya said that they arrested bus driver and the investigation over the incident would go head very soon.
