Pokhara—Tourism entrepreneurs from Pokhara jointly organized a reception to share a greetings on the occasion of upcoming Dashain, Tihar and Chhath festival in Pokhara on Saturday.
All the tourism entrepreneurs and their various organizations under the Pokhara Tourism Council (PTC) organized that reception at Hotel Barahi this morning. A total of 13 tourism related organizations most of them are the member of PTC jointly carried out that program to share their greeting to each other for peace, prosperous and good health.
Speaking about the importance of program, PTC vice chairman and program coordinator Bharat Raj Parajuli asked all the entrepreneurs to be hopeful for the future of tourism even though that was hard hit by devastating earthquake and Tarai floods including landslides. Federation of Nepali Journalists Kaski Chapter Chairman Dipendra Shrestha spoke about the importance of Dashain during the program. PTC Chairman Kedar Nath Sharma thanked all the invitees.
The program was jointly organized by PTC, Western Regional Hotel Association Pokhara, Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents Pokhara, Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal Western Regional Association Pokhara, Restaurant And Bar Association Nepal Pokhara, Nepal Airsports Association, Trekking Equipment Shop Association, Embroidery and Garment Association Pokhara, Money Changer Association Pokhara, Nepal Mountaineering Association Annapurna Chapter, Tourism Transport Committee, Women Tourism Entrepreneurs’ Forum and Village Tourism Promotion Forum.
