Armyman shot dead by his colleague at Ratna Mandir in Pokhara

Pokhara—An Army man shot dead his colleague at Ratna Mandir which is the then winter royal palace during king’s regime, in Pokhara on last night.

According to information, Nepal Army Lance Corporal Basanta Lohar from Darchula killed his friend Ganesh Bista of Baitadi, a close  Nepal Army source informed. Bista is now in Army’s custody.

The then palace is situated at the bank of beautiful Phewa Lake and belongs to Nepal Trust. The Ratna Mandir is now under the command of Siddha Box Batalion Phulbari Pokhara, reports Annapurna Post Daily.

Nepal Police has not unveiled any information about the incident yet however the case has been believed to be happened due to the mutual differences over the things. Lohar is having his duty of guard when he reportedly opened the fire.
