Pokhara—Two persons were injured when a taxi with a number plate Dha 1 Ja 383 fell down the Kali Gandaki River in Nepal’s Myagdi district this afternoon.
That taxi was heading to Myagdi district headquarter Beni from Galeshwor Temple. It met with an accident as it arrived near Jaleshwor landslide in that road section.
According to District Police Office Myagdi, Hari Prasad Thapa from Takam and his son Sumit got injured during the accident. They were referred to Pokhara fur further treatment after preliminary treatment in local hospital. There condition is said to be out of danger.
Father and son remained successful to come out of the taxi as the windscreen went broken during the accident. The taxi was swept a bit down by the river rapid. It has been said that the accident occurred as the taxi was trying to give a side to a motorbike that was in high speed, reports myagdionline.com.
