Ex-king’s Gyanendra has angioplasty

Kathmandu– Ex-king Gyanendra Shah has got angioplasty in Norvic Hospital today.

A team of doctors led by Dr Yadav Dev Bhatta carried out the angioplasty treatment in the Hospital at Thapathali. The doctors had made a decision to conduct angioplasty process for Shah’s treatment after medical report detected a block in a valve of his heart during the angiography. His health condition is normal now following the fixing of stent in his artery.

Former King, who marked his 70th birthday on July 7, had taken on doctors at Norvic after suffering from cardiovascular problem.
