Pokhara—Three youths- two females and one male reportedly have gone missing in Seti River in Pokhara on Monday noon. They were swept away as they were taking bath in the river at Pashupati Ghat of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City- 33, informed District Police Office Kaski.
Missing are identified as Sangita Nepali, Dhoni Nepali and Sunil Pariyar of Nepal’s Tapre of Dang district. They had been working as manual workers at Pashupati Ghat. According to DPO Kaski DSP Khadga Bahadur Khatri, as Sangita was started to drown into the river, Sunil tried to rescue her but unfortunately both were swept away including Sunil who went to save them at last.
Police have recovered youths’ clothes and mobile sets from the river bank. Their whereabouts is still unknown though the search operation was continued till evening. The search operation will be continued tomorrow morning.
