PM Deuba, 7 ministers sworn in

Kathmandu—Newly elected Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuwa took the oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday. He was elected as PM of Nepal the day before from Legislature Parliament. President Bidya Devi Bhandari sworn in Deuba at a special function organized in Sheetal Niwas. Fourth time PM Deuba had garnered 388 votes out of 593 in the parliament.

Similarly, CPN-MC politburo member Krishna Bahadur Mahara was also sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs in Deuba cabinet. Likewise, Janardan Sharma took oath as Minister for Home Affairs while Prabhu Sah as minister without portfolio in the cabinet.

Nepali Congress Gopal Man Shrestha of Nepali Congress has been sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education. At the same time, Forum Loktantrik Chairman Bijaya Gachchhadar took the oath of his office as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs. Farmullah Mansur took the oath of office and secrecy as Minister for Labor and Employment. NC Gyanendra Bahadur Karki was sworn in as Finance Minister.
