Pokhara—Chairmen and representatives from various tourism related organizations from Pokhara have expressed their commitment to make the 14th New Year Fewa Festival 2074 a grand success.
Western Regional Hotel Association (WRHA) Pokhara is going to organize that festival on April 11 to 15 at Komagane Park of Lakeside in touristy town Pokhara. In this connection, WRHA Pokhara has hosted an interaction with tourism entrepreneurs from Pokhara today. Addressing the interaction, Pokhara Tourism Council Chairman Kedar Nath Sharma said that Fewa Festival has been leaving very positive impact in the tourism of Pokhara. He also pledged support to the festival.
WRHA Pokhara Chairman Bikal Tulachan informed that the festival comprises the activities like boat race, tourist race and the solo dance competition. According to him, there will be installed a total of 40 stalls including 10 food stalls in the festival. Chairman Tulachan asked entrepreneurs for positive support for Fewa Festival.
WRHA Immediate Past President Bharat Raj Parajuli said that the festival has been organizing for the promotion of Pokhara for 14 years. ‘Conservation of Fewa Lake and the Nepali cultures are also our key interests.’ Parajuli said.
TAAN WRA Pokhara acting Chairman Hari Bhujel, NATTA WRA Pokhara Chairman Dil Gautam, REBAN Pokhara Chairman Chau Bahadur Gurung, Fewa Boat Entrepreneurs’ Association Chairman Buddhi Bahadur Nepal, NAA Acting Chairman Indra Bhandari and TESA Pokhara Chairman Narayan Subedi expressed their commitment of support to the Fewa Festival.
WRHA Pokhara first vice chairman Laxman Subedi welcomed all the guests during the interaction. WRHA Pokhara General Secretary Ganesh Raj Pahari moderated the program sponsored by Hotel Glacier Pokhara.
