Nepal Police, APF DIGs welcomed in Pokhara

Pokhara—Community Service and the Community Police Service Center Kaski District Coordination Committee jointly organized a program to welcome the Western Regional Police Office Pokhara chief DIG Madhu Prasad Pudasaini and Armed Police Force DIG Subodh Kumar Adhikari in Pokhara on Saturday.

Speaking in a program DIG Pudasaini appreciated the tasks done by the Community Service Centers (CSC) to make the Public-police relation close and warm. He also informed that his office has imposed seven-point special program under the campaign ‘Police My Friend’ to deliver the people friendly policing.

DIG Pudasaini also said that the role of CSC and civil society was important to curb the misuse of drugs. CSC senior adviser Dr. Dil Bahadur Chhetri stressed on the role of civil society to make a society prosperous, controlling the evil things happening in the society.

The coordination committee chairman Bishnu Bahadur Bhattarai expressed his greetings for the successful tenure of newly arrived DIG duos. Sub-Inspector Hot Bahadur Roka informed about the activities carried out by the several CSCs.

DSP of District Police Office Kaski Khadka Bahadur Khatri, chairmen and representatives of CSCs in Kaski district, tourism entrepreneurs, journalists and executives of mother groups were present in the program.
