PM Dahal assures timely elections

Recentfusion.com–Pokhara: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal claimed that his government would be successful to hold timely civic elections. After trying electric voting machine in Election Commission today, PM Dahal asked not to be suspicious over the timely elections.

He further added that the government is busy in the preparation of the elections and some of the election related laws have already been passed. PM Dahal also said that Nepali people are able to use the electric voting machine as according to him, he saw the people using smart phones even in country side during his visits those areas.

“It would be wrong to think if Nepalis are capable to use technology base voting machine,” PM said in an interaction organized in EC. Election Commission Chief Commissioner Dr. Ayodhi Prasad Yadav said that the voting machine would be helpful to hold transparent, efficient, cheaper, clean and impartial election.

Dr. Yadav also said that his commission was ready to implement all the directions given by the government and legislative parliament. Representatives of different political parties also were present during the interaction organized in Election Commission.
