PCCI celebrates its 63rd anniversary

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is one of the oldest organizations established by private sector, has entered in 63rd years today. PCCI was established in 2011 BS in Pokhara.

PCCI has also contributing in education, health, tourism and agro sectors of Pokhara and surroundings for years. According to PCCI Chairman Bishwo Shankar Palikhe, his organization had economically helped to establish Prithvi Narayan Campus and Pokhara University.

PCCI also was behind the construction of Siddhartha Highway, Mahendra Pul (bridge) and Pokhar City Hall. PCCI which is also a member of FNCCI and Asia Pacific Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been lobbying for the development of better Pokhara for years, under the concept of corporate social responsibility.

On the occasion of its anniversary, PCCI has organized a tea reception and flag hoisting program in its secretariat building this morning. PCCI Chairman Palikhe, former Chairmen Ashok Palikhe, Ramesh Karmacharya, Rajendra Kumar Lalchan, Krishna Mohan Shrestha, Sanjiv Bahadur Koirala and IPP Bindu Kumar Thapa including executive members were at present during the program.
