All 300 stalls booked for Lekhnath Festival

Recentfusion.com—Lekhnath: All 300 stalls installed for Western Regional Trade Fair and Lekhnath Festival- 2073 have been booked, informed festival coordinator Laxmi Prasad Tripathi in a press meet organized in the festival venue Tal Chok of Lekhnath Municipality today.

Conservation of local culture, focus on local production, development and prosperity are some of the aims of the festival that is scheduled for February 9-19. Goods of handicrafts, consumer goods, fancy and cosmetic items, furniture, electric items, utensils, food festival, bank services, stalls of information technology and education as well as health and sports goods would also be the parts of festival.

Exhibitions of local oranges, milk items, fishes, honey, coffee, honeybees, vegetables, chickens and bio-diversities would also be carried out during the festival. Poet conclave, Children Park, music concert, duet songs, educational activities, Ratauli competition and cultural show would also be included in the festival that would be opened from 10 am to 7 pm every day.

Organizer Lekhnath Chamber of Commerce and Industry expects some 0.3 million visitors in the festival which is sponsored by Advance Group. Likewise, the festival will see 150 million to 20 million rupees transaction and saving of 1 million rupees after the expenditure of 8 million rupees. One should pay 60 rupees to enter the festival. 20 rupees discounts are given to the students, informed Tripathi who is also also a Chairman of LCCI.
