Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Chairperson of the Development Committee of the Legislature-Parliament and CPN-UML lawmaker Rabindra Adhikari made public his development programs and their budgets under the Constituency Development Program (CDP) and Constituency Infrastructure Development Program (CIDP) here in Pokhara on Monday.
He announced the budget of 35 million rupees for 47 development programs for Kaski and his constituency number III that had elected him as a lawmaker. Organizing a press conference in Pokhara, Adhikari announced the evaluation of his former programs and the upcoming programs and their budget for economic year 2073/074.
He has allocated 5 million rupees to support the 15 million rupees fund to purchase the water hyacinth harvesting machine for Phewa Lake conservation and 1 million rupees for Gorkha Smarak of Salme Danda. Adhikari said he selected the programs and allocated budged after having meeting with local people and discussing with consultants.
He has also allocated the budget for roads, education, sports and social development sectors. Elected lawmaker gets 5 million rupees for CDP and 30 million rupees for CIDP from the government.
