Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba appealed to all political parties to come in a point to amend the constitution of Nepal.
Inaugurating a fourth general convention of Nepal Tarun Dal (NTD) in Pokhara on Saturday, Deuba stressed on unity among the democratic forces to amend the constitution to address the demands of Madheshii and Janajatis.
He also asked Madhes based parties to be flexible on their demands on the course of amendment. Deuba said that the successful implementation of constitution means the well-being of people. Deuba added that there could be political stability and peace if political forces walk together.
President Deuba said that the there is big responsibility in NC shoulder as there level of elections have to carry out within 14 months. ‘NC should work for the development of democracy and implementation of constitution.’ Deuba added. Deuba also stressed on strong Nepali Congress of without any factions inside the party. He also appealed his party cadres and the sister wings leaders to go to villages to make Nepali Congress a number one party in upcoming elections.
