Nepal Tarun Dal general convention to be held in Pokhara

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Nepali Congress youth wing Nepal Tarun Dal (NTD) fourth general convention is to be held on November 12 to 14 in Pokhara.

Earlier, the date of general convention was deferred twice but this time such case won’t be repeated, claimed General Convention Directive Committee Coordinator and Nepali Congress central committee member Surendra Pandey in a press conference held in Pokhara on Thursday.

The conventions of all NC wings were targeted to complete within six months following the victory of Sher Bahadur Deuba as NC president but he didn’t meet the target as set previously.

As per the NTD statute, person aged from 18 to 45 can remain in that organization. According to NTD president Udaya Shumsher Rana, around 1300 representatives from 70 districts will take part in the convection.

NC president Deuba will inaugurate the NTD general convention in Chiple Dhunga and close session would be held in Pokhara City Hall in 2nd day and third day would be the Election Day to choose new executive body of NTD.
