Two persons killed in Dhankuta jeep plunge

Recentfusion.com—Dharan: Two persons were killed and seven other injured as a jeep en routing to Akhuwatar from Dharan plunged in Chintang- 8, Simle Danda of Dhankuta.

According to Ilaka Police Office Chintang, deceased are identified as deputy principal of Sagarmatha Higher Secondary school Prithvi Man Rai and Sushila Shrestha of Sunsari. Driver of a jeep has absconded from the incident site and police is searching him.

The injured were taken to BP Koirala Institute of Health Science. The jeep with a number plate Ko 1 Ja 2722 plunged 70 meter down from the road. The cause of accident is not disclosed however break fail and rough road are blamed behind that tragedy.
