Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF) Pokhara has handed over Montessori and stationary materials to Saraswoti Lower Secondary School (SLSS) at Siding in Lwang Ghalel Village Development Committee- 9 on Sunday.
According to NYEF General Secretary and program coordinator Santosh Ghimire, those materials worth Rs 0.1 million were handed over targeting the 24 students studying Montessori in that school. Meanwhile, a TV of 32-inch including Rs. 20,000 cash money was also supported to the school.
That program was supported by Young Tiger Group and the support was a part of corporate social responsibility, informed NYEF President Saroj Shrestha. NYEF supported to that school to enhance the study of students. NYEF had also reconstructed the building of that school that was hard-hit by April 12 earthquake of last year.
NYEF first vice president Gyaneshwor Raj Shrestha, second vice president Suman Bijukchhe, executive member Binal Karmacharya, Pratish Palikhe, Sujan Joshi, FON member Biplab Paudel, member Bishesh Thapa, program coordinator Bishnu Timilsina were present during the program chaired by SLSS principal Shanti Tamang.
Earlier, NYEF had supported a solar system to a Bakrek Primary School at Kristi of Kaski. That school was also affected by the devastating earthquake. NYEF had constructed the makeshift school building for the students of that school. Later, a cemented building with two class rooms was constructed and handed over to the school administration last year by NYEF.
