PM Dahal in India to take part in BRICS Summit

Recentfusion.com–New Delhi: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has arrived New Delhi today to take part in two-day long BRICS-BIMSTEC Outreach Summit to be commenced in Goa of India.

Nepali acting ambassador to India Krihna Prasad Dhakal and representatives from Ministry of Foreign Affairs India welcomed PM Dahal in Indira Gandhi International Airport. Dahal had left for India from NA flight at 9 am and landed at 9.45 an in India. PM Dahal has already left for Goa from a special flight managed by Indian Government.

PM Dahal will call on Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin in the sideline of summit. The BRICS summit is going to be taken part by Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. Nepal is taking part as an observer in the conference.

PM Dahal is leading an 18-member Nepali visiting team. Dahal’s wife Sita Dahal, Foreign Affairs Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat, his ministry secretary Sankar Das Bairagi, acting chief secretary Tanka Mani Sharma including others in Dahal’s team. PM Dahal will address the summit and come back to home on October 17.
