Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Minister of Agriculture Development Gauri Shankar Chaudhari ordered the staffers under his ministry to perform the best as far as they can, in Pokhara on Sunday.
Addressing a program held in Western Regional Agriculture Directorate (WRAD), minster Chaudhari told the staffers that they couldn’t turn blind eye to their responsibility citing the shortage of budget and resources.
Informing that only 80 percent of allocated budget was mobilized in agro sector that time, he ordered the staffers to work for output as per the investment in agro sector. He also vowed that the ministry would acknowledge the staffers who work for farmers and would be punished to them who go against that.
WRAD acting director Hriday Nath Ghimire, conservation Officer Madhav Lamsal taught the directorate’s activities to minister Chaudhary. Minister Chaudhary observed the Agriculture Research Center Malepatan Pokhara and Regional Agriculture Research Center (RARC) Lumle Kaski.
He pledged to fulfill the manpower crunch in research centers and added that he understands the importance of research in agriculture. RARC Lumle Chief Dhan Bahadur Gharti informed to minister Chaudhari about the activities running in that center, minister Chaudhari. Minister Chudhari also took part in a gathering held in CPN-MC Kaski office.
