Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Naya Shakti Nepal Coordinator and former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai said the province number IV should be a Tamuwan state.
Addressing a first National Gathering of Tamu National Council in Pokhara on Saturday, Bhattarai stressed on that the area between Kali Gandaki to Budi Gandaki should be within Tamuwan area in going to be amended constitution.
He also added that the constitution should be satisfactory to all the people including Madhesi and Janajatis. He also said that he signed in the constitution produced by 2nd constituent assembly in spite of his dissatisfaction, for the sake of safe landing of the situation. ‘I signed in the constitution as it would be the tool to go ahead where we can address the demands of Madhesi, Janajatis and marginalized people by amending the constitution ‘said Bhattarai.
He claimed that the Naya Shakti Nepal was formed to address the rights of people by improving the existing constitution. So, according to him, people should make victorious to his party in upcoming election to address their demands and rights.
Claiming that the same nature of state for long didn’t improve the condition of marginalized people, he sought the inclusive nature of state to give the rights to the people and to make the nation developed. ‘So, we will work to make Nepal prosperous. ‘he claimed.
Dr. Bhattarai said that the Naya Shakti Nepal will go ahead balancing the relationship between China and India. He added that his party would work to make good relation with those two neighbors.
