Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: People from Dhikurpokhari, the birth place of newly sworn in Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal organized a candlelight vigil to celebrate his rise as a Nepal’s executive chief, on Thursday evening.
The ceremony was organized with Naumati Baja, the play of cultural instrument among the villagers and PM’s relatives, at Lewade of Dhikurpokhari. Locals of Dhirkur Pokharai informed that they would go to PM with some demands- establishment of Engineering Center in their village, drinking water in every household, the upgrading of health post to hospital and promotion of agriculture road.
CPN-MC central committee member Ramji Baral Jeevan said that the Dhikurpokhari is proud that the village gave a birth like top like Prachanda who is, according to Baral, a source of republic, federalism, inclusion and secularism. Village Development Secretary Sthaneshwor Dhungana said that the political leaders from Dhikurpokharai should attention Prachanda to develop their village.
CPN-MC village committee president Govinda Adhikari, local Bhes Raj Paudel and Lok Nath Bhandari also expressed their views.
