Owner of the Babu Adventure, the first paragliding school in Nepal, he was a participant of Red Bull X-Alps of 2012. Here is presented excerpts of chitchat with Sunuwar over his recent record on Mt. Elbrus of Russia.

How did you feel as you set new record in Mt. Elbrus?
It is my great success that I finally made possible the tandem paragliding flight from Mt. Elbrus, the highest peak in European continent, for the first time. I am very happy now as I am getting tons of congratulations not only from my country Nepal but also from all over the world.

What is the meaning of that record for the people of Nepal?
I have completed a challenge and new task in my life. It was a historic moment not only for me for all Nepalese people. It is the victory of all Nepalese; so, we should feel proud of that success.

How difficult task is it to make such record in that mountain?
Firstly, it was really a difficult to ascend that mountain and doing tandem flight from the peak was another challenge for me because the weather was not favorable and the chill wind is blowing strong as I was making my dream success on last Wednesday.

What is your further plan regarding your mission?
I was flying from Mt. Elbrus under my mission that I am going to fly from the highest mountains from all seven continent of the world. It was my third step of my dream that I had already scaled world’s highest Mt. Everest (8848 M) and Africa’s highest mountain Mt. Kilimanjaro (5892 M). I also flew from those two mountains as my recent flight from Mr. Elbrus. Now, I am planning to scale another highest mountain of any remaining continent. The date and mountain is not fixed.

From where does the money comes to do all that job?
As of now, my friends and relatives have been helping me to set all that adventure records. Still I am in search of sponsors to scale the remaining 3 highest peaks of my mission and to fly from their top. Hope, I will get what I am seeking.
