Recentfusion.com–Dhankuta: At least 13 passengers including former state minister for finance Hari Raj Khewa killed leaving over two dozen injured as a bus plunged in Parewadin-5, Dhankuta of east Nepal on Thursday.
The bus with full of passengers was going to Dharan from Mudhe Sanishchare of Sankhuwasabha and fell 100 meters down from the road. According to police, seven passengers were killed in the spot while remaining were in the hospital. The treatment of injured is undergoing in the hospitals of Dhankuta, Biratnagar and Dharan.
According to District Traffic Police In-Charge Surendra Khadka, the accident occurred as the bus was running through dense fug with heavy rain. More than 40 passengers were travelling by that ill-fated bus that suffered from break fail, informed some travelers of that vehicle.
