Myagdi landslide swept away 3 houses

Recentfusion.com—Myagdi: Landslide swept away 3 house leaving 5 others in high risk in Bhakkimli- 9, Torakhet of Myagdi distring in mid Nepal on Wednesday.

3 houses including a cattle hut of Bal Bahadur Darjee swept away. According to a local Tek Bahadur Malla, landslide took away the houses of Dhan Bahadur Darjee, Nil Bahadur Darjee, Vipendra Darjee, Til Bahadur Darjee and Krishna Bahadur Darjee even in last year.

The recently gutted houses were the same houses that were damaged by last year’s landslide. There is no report of human and cattle casualties because of the landslide.  According to Myagdi district DSP Bishow Raj Khadka, a group of police reached incident site and already returned back to district headquarter following a miking to aware the locals about further possible landslides.

Torakhet is the 5 year old landslide hit area from where 20 families displaced because of the nature fury. 12 families lost all their home and land because of the landslide.
