UTSC to begin relay hunger strike

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: Agitating against newly promulgated constitution, Tamuwan Samyukta Sangharsa Samiti (UTSC) is to begin relay hunger-strike from June 7 demanding rights and identity in Pokhara.

This strike will be the solidarity of same kind of strike that going to be started in Kathmandu- Sahid Manch on same date. Demanding the rewriting of constitution, agitating 29 fringe parties and Federal Alliance jointly launching that strike in Kathmandu.

Rewriting of constitution, federalism with identity, constitution with Tamuwan Provence, guarantee of rights, fully proportional representation, linguistic equity are the major demands of UTSC.

The strike, which is going to start in Manab Adhikar Chow of Pokhara will begin from 7 am and lasts at 7 pm daily, following the cultural program, poetic presentation and mass gathering. UTSC coordinator Hum Bahadur Gurung and secretary Gajendra Subba and their mates will take part in the relay hunger strike in first day.
