Hello Chicago! In this way Barack Obama Wednesday started his 2051 word long speech before a huge crowd in this city following his victory as a first black president of United States of America. I heard most of the parts of his speech in BBC and CNN but not in live broadcast.  I also printed a full copy of his speech from independent.co.uk and went thoroughly.

It was one of his statements that lured my attention- "If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.

When I used to contribute stories to english.ohmynews.com as a first citizen reporter of Pokhara two years before, I learned an important word that was 'change'. The same word- change cleared a way to White House for Senator Obama, born of a Kenyan father and an American Mother in Hawaii.

Change- we need, Yes we can, yes we did and change has come to America are some of the slogans and sayings that I couldn't forget in the regards of US election and its aftermath. People love change and something different in their life and the message of same change was one of the causes that CPN-Maoist's got landslide victory in Constituent Assembly election.

When I was reading the Obama's victory news in The Himalayan Times and in the Kathmandu Post, Nepal's leading English newspapers, this morning, standing in front of a vendor shop, a beautiful lady over there unfolded a sentence from her mouth- 'I had wished Obama won the election.' Yes, most of the Nepalis who know about the US election had a same wish.

So I am also writing over this issue and hailing the Obama's victory. Congratulation Obama! I mean not that I would not congratulate John MacCain if he won the race. By the way, many Nepalis who support Obama, don't know what would they get following his victory. I also have no list of things that I will get or not to get from this victory however I hail his victor only for change.  Yes change in work not in word.
