Most of the crowds I witness in the morning and evening time in the streets of Pokhara represent the youngsters. I don't know one thing that the density of girls in that crowd is bigger than the boys'. I also am a member of such crowd and hike aimlessly most of the days in the evening and morning time.

Nepal is an agricultural country where more than 80 percent people rely on farming activities. I also am a son of farmer and still remember those days of my activeness in the fieldwork when I was a student of high school.

When I was heading to College Tue, June 24, 2008, 1:44 pm
I paid 100 rupees fare for a taxi to reach to my college a couple of days ago but I have been paying only four rupees for that distance when I used to ride a public bus. But public buses were not plying that day. Same amount of rupees was paid to come back to my home too.

CA Poll a Festival for change Lovers Sat, April 12, 2008, 12:06 pm
Since I am a journalist, people from my community wished to hear something from me about the resulting of vote-counting and declared results of Constituent Assembly poll, when I was walking out of my residence in the morning today. Many of them, not only them; almost all the anti Maoist voters across the country are terming the result as an unexpected happening.

Finally I got an entry pass Tue, April 8, 2008, 11:30 pm
Finally I got an entry permit card to the polling centers of historic Constituent Assembly (CA) polls holding in Nepal on Thursday. The card allows the access to the vote-counting centers as well. Not only me; such permit was issued to almost all the Kaski based 170 journalists today. But the struggle what we did to get such a pass was very tough.

Few days ago when I was walking through Bhalam, a village development committee in Pokhara valley, I met two beautiful girls near a suspension bridge. I intended to talk to them and asked to show me the route to Batulechaur, another VDC in same district, and they elaborated about the route to where I wished to go.

World webcam poem contest Fri, February 15, 2008, 4:35 pm
Newyork (USA): Greeting with Namaste in Nepali style, Sahadev Poudel of Makawanpur in Nepal, who currently lives in US began reading his poem sitting in front of a microphone and webcam installed computer. Introducing themselves, many other participants also verbalized their poems as they were taking part in this poem contest.

Tomorrow 14th February is a Valentine's Day. So, most of the youngsters now are excited however there are lots of youngsters who don't have valentine and might feel depressing due to this day. Remembering the past, it was socially like a taboo for a girl and a boy to involve in romance during my school life.

The newspaper which I work for has recently organized an International Food Festival in Pokhara. During that time, I remained very much busy because almost all the reporting about that festival had to be done by me. I interviewed about a dozen of chefs to prepare the menu of their hotels and restaurants.
